Tomato Butter is a sweet and tangy condiment that we use to make during the peak of tomato season to capture the freshness of the tomatoes. We loved it on fried chicken and pork chops, but mostly right out of the jar.
This southern recipe was passed down from my grandmother, to my mother, to me and now I love making it with my niece Samantha.
For years I have been canning it every year and give jars away as presents, and for years people have told me to start my own business. As always, life gets in the way of our dreams. But now I’m going to try and give it a go and share this wonderful product with the world.
